League facts

Sims

Every house league’s sims, on each league’s own clock

Teams

How many teams the league has. Every team plays once each game-day, so this sets how many games are played each game-day.

Game times

Whether each of a sim’s games gets its own first pitch through the day, or they all land at the sim time.

  • All at the sim time

Every game of a sim is played at the sim time

No house league · Start your own →

  • Spread through the dayThis league

A sim’s game-days split the time until the next sim. Games start one after another, never between 1:00 and 10:00 AM league time.

Live games

Whether games play out pitch by pitch in real time or land all at once.

Missed sims

What happens when a sim is missed, for example while the league is paused.

Schedule

The preset a league is built from. It sets when the league sims, how many game-days each sim plays, and how long a season is.

House leagues shift these times by up to a few hours, so finals land all through the day; each league shows its own times.

The 1998 season

The summer of 1998, when Mark McGwire (70) and Sammy Sosa (66) both passed the old single-season record. Every player from 1998, so the chase can happen again — or go to somebody else.

The summer of the home run chase: Mark McGwire hit 70 and Sammy Sosa 66, both passing Roger Maris’ 61. Expansion added two clubs that year, and offense was high across both leagues.

Player ratings come from Retrosheet play-by-play. Clubs are shown by the game’s own team names; see credits.
